Win In Our Winter F1 Fix Competition

Posted by: redbullf1 January 5th, 2010 at 2:35 pm

f1-2009-dvd[1]

It’s cold in Milton Keynes and currently we’re looking at just under 68 days to go until the next race.

So to help relieve boredom and the cold (if you’re living in warmer climes, good choice) we have stuff to give away.

Top prize is the double DVD disc set of The Official Review Of The 2009 FIA Formula One World Championship, entitled Not In A Hurry. As well as more than 270 minutes of action, there are behind the scenes features and 17 on-board camera laps of the tracks. And as this is the official F1 DVD, it’s access all areas.

It also features a picture of Sebastian on the back.

The winner will also receive a Red Bull Racing beanie hat as will three runners-up.

If you want to be in with a chance of winning, all you have to is answer the question below and enter our competition:

Which driver numbers did Mark and Sebastian race under in 2009?

You need to send the answer, your name, full postal address and a daytime phone number to competition@redbullf1.com before 5pm (CET) on Sunday, January 24, 2010. The winner and three runners-up will be chosen at random from the correct answers.

Best of luck…

And you can also order the DVD to buy HERE

Even MORE prizes on offer

Posted by: redbullf1 December 2nd, 2009 at 2:58 pm

blog-prizes

We’ve begged, borrowed and called in favours to gather even more prizes to give away to people taking part in our inaugural Fan Awards.

It works like this, you go to our nominations page (http://bit.ly/Fan_Awards), take three and a half minutes (plus thinking time) to nominate who you should win various awards from this season, everything from best driver to best debut, best off-track moment to the season’s bad boy. Once you take part, you’re in with a chance of winning one of the prizes or our first prize which is everything listed*. And just added to the prize haul are a piece of genuine Red Bull Racing carbon-fibre as raced in by the boys, signed fireproofs as worn by Seb, Mark and DC (they’re clean, mind) and… a Red Bull Racing trilby(!).

Either check out the story on the main site for more details or go straight ahead and vote: http://bit.ly/Fan_Awards

*The prizes: A piece of one of the cars signed by Mark Webber,  a signed fireproof undershirt, a Red bull racing polo shirt, a Red Bull Racing trilby, 2009 Garage Pass, one 2009 hospitality bag, an RB5 Minichamp model, the complete Victory Poster set, a 2009, collectors’ edition press pack signed by the drivers, a set of 2009 drivers’ autograph cards,  a team baseball cap signed by Sebastian, the complete Best Of The F1 Red Bulletin (RIP) 2005-2008, the 2006 Red Bull F1 Coffee Table Book, a copy of Formula One 40 Years of Fascination And Passion by Ferdi Krailing, a Trust Red Bull Racing computer mouse and, because he’s still very much part of our team, a signed David Coulthard Farewell Exhibition Catelogue from Monza 2008.

Vote in Our First Fan Awards – And Win Yourself Prizes

Posted by: redbullf1 November 13th, 2009 at 1:49 pm

We want to know who you think was the best driver of 2009, which was the best race of the year and which other team you thought did a half decent job against Red Bull Racing.

So… who gets your vote in the Red Bull Racing Fan Awards 2009?

Everyone who votes in the Red Bull Racing Fan Awards 2009 has the chance to win a sackful of Red Bull Racing merchandise, and 12 runners-up will each get a prize. It’s a win-win, it really is.

All you have to do is go to our online voting page (http://bit.ly/Fan_Awards), choose your winners and contribute to the first ever Red Bull Racing Fan Awards.

The deadline for voting is midday (GMT) on Monday, December 7. The results will be published on Friday, December 11 and with any luck we’ll ship out the prizes before Christmas.

So we need to know which you think is the…

1. Driver of the Year
This one’s open to any driver on the grid. But as a reminder: Sebastian scored our first and last wins of the season and came a close second in the Drivers’ Championship. But… Mark Webber scored his first grand prix win – and his second – and finished on the podium eight times. And all after coming back from a broken leg. Our neighbours also saw Sébastien Buemi score in  his debut race of the season and had a strong finish. Young Jaime also proved himself, even with little F1 experience. So who was your driver of the year?  Or was it (shame on you…) someone outside the Red Bull family?

2. Race of the Year
China a one-two in the wet; Silverstone another one-two at the Factory’s home race; Nurburgring when the German media thought Seb should have won it; Suzuka where Seb proved how dominating the RB5 is, Brazil where Mark stole a march on the Brawns and Seb fought from 14th on the grid to fourth. Or Abu Dhabi? Abu Dhabi when we dominated.

3. On-track Moment of the Season
Mark’s re-overtake of Jenson in China, Seb’s Suzuka flier, Mark’s defence of his second place in Abu Dhabi or Vettel’s brilliant run in Brazil. Happily there were several this year.

4. Event of the Year (non-racing)
Seb meeting ZZ Top, Manic Street Preachers coming to Silverstone, Kings of Leon in Abu Dhabi, The Who in Melbourne or something not music related: Mark’s recovery from injury, Adrian Newey’s post-race celebrations or Seb naming his cars?

Not Necessarily Red Bull…

5. Other Team of the Year
Who was your second favourite squad? Our sister team, the Toro Rosso young guns? New-boys/nemesis Brawn? If you really had to choose, it’d be…

6. Hero of the Year
Christian Horner? Adrian Newey? Or is it someone else who doesn’t necessarily wear blue: Ross Brawn perhaps? Jenson Button? Nelsinho? Jean Todt?

7. Bad Boy of the Year
Hmmm. Were there any?

8. Debut of the Season
Sébastien Buemi made his mark in his rookie season as did Brawn, as did Abu Dhabi. And Mr Kobayashi wasn’t half bad either.

9. Shock of the Year
Once again Formula One threw up its fair share of surprises: Max, BMW, Toyota all deciding to go (for now); the Singapore revelations from 2008, Lewis not being totally honest in the first couple of races…

Everyone who votes gets their name entered into a prize draw to win a bag stuffed full of prizes. It’ll contain:

A 2009 Garage Pass, one 2009 hospitality bag, an RB5 Minichamp model, the complete Victory Poster set, a 2009, collectors’ edition press pack signed by the drivers, a set of 2009 drivers’ autograph cards,  a team baseball cap signed by Sebastian, the complete Best Of The F1 Red Bulletin (RIP) 2005-2008, the 2006 Red Bull F1 Coffee Table Book, a copy of Forumula One 40 Years of Fascination And Passion by Ferdi Krailing, a Trust Red Bull Racing computer mouse and, because he’s still very much part of our team, a signed David Coulthard Farewell Exhibition Catelogue from Monza 2008.

As well as the top prize we have one each of the above to give to our runners-up. All will be picked entirely at random.

So, go to our online survey and fill out the form. You’ll find it at: http://bit.ly/Fan_Awards

Regular subscribers will know the drill by now… Red Bull Racing wins a race, we produce a very smart poster for the staff in Milton Keynes and keep 25 back to hand over to competition winners.

The final race of the year brought a special result for us and this poster is pretty special. It shows Seb and Mark in parc ferme, and on the reverse scenes from the race, the celebrations afterwards and the official race team pictures for this year. It’s a work of art.

If you want to be in with a chance of winning one, all you have to is answer the question below and enter our competition.

Which member of the Red Bull Racing team shared the podium with Seb and Mark at Abu Dhabi?

You need to send the answer, your name, full postal address and a daytime phone number to competition@redbullf1.com before 5pm (CET) on Sunday, November 29, 2009. The 25 winners will be chosen at random from the correct answers.

Best of luck…
