We’ve made some changes around here… we hope you like them.
For our regular Forum contributors, thanks for your input, and we hope our new version is a lot easier to use and has a few more features you’ll like.
We’ll also be reporting back from the Paddock and pitlane at each race and asking you to contribute, either through comments on the blog or debating in the forum. And don’t forget to check out the almost independent Red Bull F1 Spy on his Twitter feed.
One request: For those who used the old forum, can you register in again to make sure we have your details correctly and so we can keep you up to date with all that’s going on here at Red Bull Racing.

MANY CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THOSE PRESENT AT SILVERSTONE AND TO ALL THE REST OF THE TEAM AT TILBROOK, MILTON KEYNES.
ANOTHER FANTASTIC FIRST AND SECOND PLACE.
Sirs!
I found no other way to communicate on the ‘Net, so I post my opinion here. I hope one of you will forward it to Mark Webber, thank you!
Regarding Raikkonen’s “being in the way at Silverstone qualifying”:
From the TV coverage here, it appears that he was approaching a right turn at a speed that made you both reach the apex simultaneously. It also appears like it would not have helped you if he’d been on the inside of the curve, or the outside (which he was). The best place would have been in the middle, so as to let you pass him on whichever side. (Still not the optimum, IMHO.)
At the time you became visible in his rear view mirrors, I don’t think anybody would have made a quick move to the middle. This would probably only have had you step on your brakes, not knowing what he’s up to, thus being worse off than him staying by the curb.
Therefore, I submit to you, that the *only* party responsible for your disfortune, is Ferrari, and not Raikkonen. They should have informed him way earlier, so that he’d been able to stop well ahead of the curve. No other action could have saved your lap.
== Being a Finn myself, I can relate to his unability to both defend himself and at the same time defuse your (well warranted) aggression. This, however, does not remove the fact that Raikkonen was not to blame.
=============
Why do I see the effort of writing this to you?? IMHO, you are one of the most sympathetic drivers in F1. I’d dislike you ending up in animosity with a fellow Finn — just by happenstance. That would really be a waste.

The thing that puts me off Red Bull is that there are too many fans who are whinging Australians moaning about how unlucky Webber is and how he is the greatest driver the world has ever seen but how unfair it is….
So having followed DC’s career, I’ve now taken to following the Brawn website. Vettel is an excellent driver but Webber is never going to be one of the greats. Any chance this year could be his last and replace him next year with Alonso?
Well done to the drivers and all the team at Milton Keynes. I hope Mark and Sebastian can repeat their wins this weekend. Keep up the good work. I have followed Red Bull since DC left Mclaren and I was lucky enough to be in Monaco May 2006 when he was 3rd and got the first podium for Red Bull. I have a treasured “Saltire” signed by DC, Christian and Adrian that weekend and great memories of DC in his cape.
